Re: Millwall away
I can remember going to the old den in the mid 70's for a League cup game. Other London teams were playing the same night and there were lots of fights on the underground, and a West Ham fan died
Re: Millwall away
West Ham play Bournemouth at home on the Wednesday ?
Few West Ham fans already seeing it as a night out at the Den

Moaning time..... yes , a bloody awful draw! We never seem to have much luck in cup draws.

No one likes us (on the EFL cup draw committee) we don't care.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2024 8:29 am Moaning time..... yes , a bloody awful draw! We never seem to have much luck in cup draws.
Although it's a winnable game if we select our strongest team

The 5-2 at their ground is one of my all time favourite away games. As long as it's on the Tuesday, all over this one, a derby is a derby.

Re: Millwall away
I remember going to that game. Spent most of the match looking over my shoulder as the atmosphere inside the ground seemed decidedly dodgy. Then, on walking back to the station, realised it was all kicking off up ahead and just jumped on a bus going in the opposite direction. Had no real idea where we were going but were just happy to be going away from all the trouble.Rubex Kube wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2024 8:24 amMillwall fan died mid 70s, fell under a train name was Ian Pratt. Remember going 3-0 up in the first 10 minutes the other year.
They didn’t like that.
