Which ads are most annoying?

Is it me, or are ads now appearing in-between posts in a thread? Those are the most annoying for me, as they break the continuity of doom as a scroll down through everyone's wrong opinions. I can live with the ones at the sides and on top.

I just double-checked on a thread with lots of posts (Israel), and there's definitely ads appearing in-between posts. Bin those please, but you can keep the rest if it helps with funding all the fun we have in this place.

Any idea on total cost to be covered? I've voted to make a contribution rather than see ads. Jokes about people with 6 personas aside, what sort of cash are you trying to raise? I'd stick £20 in a year or something? (I pay that to Wikipedia and I use this place a lot more than there)

Just make them smaller on the screen, no need to remove them IMO.

You've got to pay for the hosting. However, if you are making a significant profit out of them, you should think about giving the surplus to the Supporters Club to eventually go back to the club, or donate direct to the club for some specific purpose.

Use adguard as your DNS server, and youll never get another advert on your phone again. Not just the ads on here, but NO ads on any site

Best thing i did to my phone, in 2022. Took 2 minutes to do it
