Since Blackpool away . 3 Wins & 2 draws, we definitely seem to be finding our feet.

7th in the form table in the last 5 games and our next 4 games are all against teams in the bottom half. Think our start was very hard and we are seeing that we are very much a mid table team right now, which I’m more than happy with.

Through system and personnel changes the defence seems to have stabilised a bit now. It's coincided with Cooper coming in who along with Graham getting up to speed have made a noticeable difference.

The solid defence has returned to a degree, well reasonably so

It’s been a tremendous turnaround since a shaky start. Having a decent GK between the sticks has made a big difference. Sol was immense today.

Howes started against Blackpool, Happe didnt. You sure its all down to Brynn ?

And Howlers hasn’t been anywhere near the first team since. Richie knows what he’s doing.

I thought we started a bit slowly today, and Shrewsbury could have scored in that first 10 min period.
Brynn pulled off a great save when their striker was clean through, and this was a key moment as if they score first it could’ve been a different story.
I thought that Beckles and Cooper were excellent and either could’ve been MOTM for me.

Bit harsh on Howes as he played well at Blackpool AND he was thrown in at the deep end.

Nonetheless, Brynn is the better GK without question.

Same here . I would take a mid table finish right now with both hands . The only thing I want from this season is to finish outside the bottom four . Anything else would be a bonus .

Howlers looked out of his depth playing against 17 year olds on Tuesday. Brynn is in a different stratosphere. What is bizarre is that Howlers is way older than both other GKs in the squad so it’s hardly like he’s here to learn from others. A really bizarre signing that makes no sense whatsoever.

He's on the bench every game & only a red card o an injury away from coming on. Are you sure you know how Football works ?

Ok, let me rephrase slightly:

“Nowhere near the first team unless extreme circumstances force him to fumble his way back to looking completely out of his depth until the proper GK returns”

Better?

Ared card can be given in the 1st minute of a game , ask Jens Lehman. Hardly extreme.

GKs getting sent off I hardly a common occurrence. When was the last time an Orient keeper got sent off in a league match? Has it happened at all in the past 5 years?

Howes is a great No 2. If only we had one in 2014☹️

Brynn nearly broke his foot getting off a bus. Keep him wrapped up & Happe away from the starting line up untill we need to change. We'll pick up more points that way.

Sad to see the same guy making everything about the keeper who didn't play once again. Boring..

Great win today, fun game.

I agree it’s very boring. I make a comment about how well Brynn played today and this Joe315 guy starts waffling on about Howlers. Some people are obsessed.

Don't think it's happened in 5 years, maybe not even in 10

The closest thing in terms of the #2 keeper playing a full game was Vigoroux picking up a mysterious "injury" (wink wink nudge nudge) at the tail end of last season that gave Sam Sargeant a chance to get a game in once the title was won

Genuine question for you:

go back on this thread and tell me which boarder first mentioned Howlers and then proceeded to steer the conversation in that direction.

Was it me?

Yes or no.

I know you think you're being clever, but you're not. It's a Saturday night, there must be better things you could be doing.

I start a thread about our form since Blackpool & you obsess about making derogatory names about Samuel Howes. I've never used a derogatory name about Dan Happe. You claim to be some sort of man with cloth, I assume its touching cloth in the bathroom sense.
