Yeah - NYT explained that they'd pulled the word FETUS part way through the day because it's a sensitive issue in the USA at the moment. I had FETUS ( and disapprove of the spelling). They explained that the word had been part of the list programmed in months ago, and that it was picked at random (as the original developer had intended). I suppose that in the process for pulling the word and substituting it for another, they might have somehow changed the list of words - or perhaps changes the "random order" - so those users who got SHINE might now all get the same word each day as each other, but that it'd be different to those of us who got FETUS.

It beats being divided over Brexit, or Martin Ling, I guess.

Today (Tuesday) I got GECKO, by the way.
