Done it a couple of times, not as hard as the press seem to be making it out.

It’s just a rehash of the old Mastermind board game, really.

Done a couple - both in 4. Think you’d need a really lucky 1st/2nd guess to do better.

Exactly. How banal. Fair play to whoever is behind this if they can somehow rehash a droll old game and monetise it.

I’m obviously joking, not seen it before but it’s great - first time today and managed it in 4, making me better than everyone else here other than slacker.

Got in it 5, but it took me a long time to realise that letters can appear twice

It's a bit different - in Mastermind the colours are random, in Wordle the letters have to form an actual word.

But I like the fact you can share your pattern without giving away the answer (although it can provide clues)

Today’s was my maiden attempt. Needless to say, I employed an EAGLE technique which helped me get there in 5 too.

Done it for the first time today, achieved in four guesses. Annoying 12 minute wait now til I can do the next one. Might even need to resort to doing some work.

Edit: it's actually a 12 hour wait

11 minutes? I have bad news for you. You may want to go back and look at that countdown clock again.

The wait is part of the attraction. Genius.

Although as above, these things earn money by keeping you on them to pump adverts at you, so interested to see how it pays or develops.
