Correct. Long live the levelling up effect of the invisible hand of the free market
Ah good. See, this capitalism lark isn't all bad after all.

I've been thinking about this levelling up thing a bit more. Why if the free market is going to level up the left behind does Johnson go on about getting on with implementing policies to deliver it ? Is he some sort of big dog state socialist?

Sensational.

Moan at Labour MPs for supporting striking workers. Also moan at the PM for not supporting the striking workers. All in the one headline. This is genius.

Prove they get more than they deserve
Average pay for a driver £54k a year. Probably more than enough I would say. Plenty on here wouldn’t mind that job
You are of course free to apply for such a cushty, overpaid job.
Yeah, but I doubt very much you would get anywhere. I mean, when did you last see an advertisement for one of these cushy, overpaid jobs ?

He has a rare oratory skill. He communicates effectively with concise messaging to as wide an audience as possible. I'm sure he and his members won't thank me for saying this, but he reminds me of Farage when he was at his most effective. Obviously they're polar opposites on many other things.

You're right that large swathes of the media and political establishment will now commence an extreme campaign against him. But people with his skills can be effective at countering that. TV producers just can't help but love a communicative disruptor.

The Union movement and the real left needed a figurehead to emerge. He sure has picked his moment.

Or they’ll dig, not find anything on him, then just stop giving him air time.

Thankfully the RMT have another hero in Eddie Dempsey they can wheel until he gets banned as well.

How so? Is there something about him we should know?
