The fact that we had a team available on Tuesday night to face Spurs has no bearing on whether we have a team available to play Walsall on Saturday.
There are loads of reasons why the positions have changed. I’m sure the legal experts could come up with a good defence if they put their mind to it.

The inability to know all the salient facts certainly won’t stop people drawing conclusions which happen to fit their usual narrative about the club and its personnel.

Also if they make an example of us no team will take a test that they don't have to.
Whats the odds of Brentford,Stoke and Newport taking tests now if offered them in the next round.
Let me think, I'm gonna do something that could cost us 100k when I don't have to duh.
I'd say absolutely zero.

Of course they won’t make an example of us.

They won't need to, we've made a pretty bad example of ourselves.
Anyway, this whole thing will get forgotten about soon enough, as there are far bigger crises coming down the track, sadly.

I know we love a moan up but this is getting ridiculous now.
You would imagine that if it’s running rife through our squad, the situation must be similar in other EFL clubs. The only difference is we’ve been (properly) tested.

Well, apart from Mansfield (no cases), Plymouth (2), Charlton, Lincoln, Bournemouth, Bristol City (all clear)… and god knows how many else...

All valid points.
Although you do wonder how thorough some of the testing may have been.
The good news is it's gone through the club so give it another week and we'll no longer have any Covid worries.

Until people get reinfected?
