And you expect people to go out next time and vote for your party? Good luck with that.
I couldn't give a toss actually who you vote for - although I doubt very much whether you'd vote Labour.

That said, how ANYONE can vote Tory, yet still have any degree of conscience, is completely beyond me.

Moreover, do you have the first idea of how ridiculous you sound talking about the 'politics of division'; when you support a Tory Goverment? Brexit, which is the monster created by the Tories, has created MORE division (and hatred) across the UK than I have ever experienced during my lifetime.

Anyway, back on topic. You haven't actually suggested what's wrong with getting Brexit-loving wrinklies out in the fields picking fruit. If you fall into this demographic, can I count on you to put your name down; and give something back to our society?

Nothing wrong with it at all if it's something they want to do.

This post originally started because of a reporter from the Independent wrote a story yes a story, not facts a story to gain publicity for himself & his paper he works for, that's what reporters do.
Not once did I say I'm a Boris fan either , but all the reporters such as Kuensburg & PESTon have it in for him so all I was saying that things far worse are happening across the world, not every country.
I can only point out that I have family aboard & disoriented my cousin in Spain isn't a distant relative, he flys over regularly to watch the O's home & away & probably goes more games than you.
They tell me what's happening over in their countries & that's not good either & doesn't make it right.
Everyone has opinions & they will all depend on what party you vote for, same with journalists & they'll write stuff like 75% OF THE DEATHS COULD OF BERNAVOIDED & stories like that if you don't like Boris for instance. STORIES not facts admin,
It just all depends who you vote for or what paper you work for what lies you get.
Corbyn, Diane Abbott. Really? There would be double the amount of deaths with these 2 Muppets at the helm.
Corbyns brother was on an anti lockdown march yesterday. There's your answer.

Good grief.......the pure irony of your contribution here.

You start by referring about people spouting fiction, rather than facts. Fair enough.

OK then.

So let's consider your statement: Corbyn, Diane Abbott. Really? There would be double the amount of deaths with these 2 Muppets at the helm.

Where's your facts to prove that there would be double the amount of deaths.......or are you similarly just making it up?

Corbyns brother was on an anti lockdown march yesterday. There's your answer.

An answer to what exactly?

What have the actions of Jeremy Corbyn's brother, got to do with Jeremy Corbyn?

Peston & Kuenssberg have it in for Boris? Righto.

Good to see the Corbyn / Abbott straw man argument getting another airing.

Can't say I'm surprised.

These type of people still apportion blame on the Unions from the 1970's.

Yes but the Unions are to blame.

With different leadership the Labour movement could have won. Working people had it in their own hands back then.

Exactly. Most people only voted for Boris & the conservatives because the other option was the Corbyn & Abbott Muppet show.
The daily Coronavirus news briefing would of been a right laugh.

Wouldn’t say most, but certainly many people, enough to generate a huge majority of Tory MPs , voted not for Boris but against Corbyn.

Imagine Abbott spewing out all those statistics. Mind you she would have been just as good at not answering questions like the current bunch.

The Bumbling Blonde Bombshell is being slaughtered by the Committee Chairpersons ( they are cross section of all parties ). This scandal is going way beyond Party Politics.

The more Bozo continues to protect Dominic Cummings and refuses to sack him, the less respect he will get across the country and the more damage he will do to the Tory party.Let him keep digging his own grave.

Heh. Do you really think a fictional Corbyn/Abbott pairing could have done worse than the shitshow we currently have? You may have noticed that the minister in the second most important position in the Government, the Home Secretary, is so gobsmackingly incompetent that she’s been allowed to give the daily briefing just three times in almost three months. You think Abbott, if given the job, could have been any worse? We’ve had the Health Secretary (ok, that’s fine) the Chancellor (eh?), the trade minister, even the Minister for overseas aid, but the actual f*cking Home Secretary, y’know, whose job this LITERALLY IS, can only be trusted 3 times. That’s incredible.

As for your 75% comment, here’s a wee statistic for you. Germany, with a population some 20% larger than ours, as of today - Deaths from Covid - 8,431. UK deaths - 37,460.
We have had over 5 times as many deaths, despite having a smaller population.

Australia, population 25million, 33%of ours. Covid deaths as of yesterday - 102. That’s right, 102. Extrapolate that and you’d have less than 400 deaths for the same population as the UK.

So how the screaming blue f**k have we managed to be closing in on 40 thousand deaths? Seriously? Would you care to hazard a guess why?
