Shame some on here thinks everything the club does is fantastic all the time.
I don't think that's true, but some of us do think the current regime generally gets more right than wrong. We also choose not to criticise them when they do get something wrong, it happens. In particular we don't slag a player off before he's even had a chance to prove himself with an Orient shirt on.
I haven't slagged a player is before he's had an Orient shirt on.
I called him a journeyman, which is an average player that moves from club to club.
Why are you lying?

Slightly alarmed at how quickly he's moved on from other league one clubs
3 yr contract at Oxford, left after 6 months!
3yr contract at Wigan, left after one season
Seems he was signed as a full back for both of these clubs. If he's better as a box-box midfielder I'd prefer we use him there.

He's had a load of clubs, fans say he's pants, I think we're panicking, just like last year when we brought Pigott in.
Very complimentary!

So where does it say I have to be complimentary?
Am I not allowed an opinion now?
I think I'm in the majority in thinking Pigott was terrible
The fact Clare has had several clubs is fact

Interview says he knows a few of the current squad. Should help him settle quickly

Sean Clare has actually had 3 x 3 year contracts at Hearts, Oxford and Wigan and 4 if you include Orient. So managers, coaches obviously see something in him, but it never seems to materialise that he develops into a key player.. According to Ritchie "He can cover several areas for us, has a lot of pace and athleticism, is a good size and a very good footballer" Lingy says " he still has his best years ahead of him. He is a very versatile player who can play at full-back, in midfield or at centre-back." Clare has played for the last seven seasons and always been one of the first names on the team sheet
38,49,43,40,36,,35,31 totalling over 200 appearances with 5 seasons in League One and 2 in the Scottish Premiership. So although a 3 year contract seemed a bit strange to me, I think he would be in demand if things didn't work out at Orient. So on paper a versatile, athletic player who has been one of the first names on the team sheet over the last 7 seasons. According to my Charlton supporting friend, he doesn't make many mistakes, but his crossing is poor and he can't get past people, so it seems his defensive qualities are good. He seems to get about 10 yellow cards a season, but has only ever had one red card with Hearts. He only scores about one goal a season, so probably better in defence than going forward. But we shall see, k sera k sera, I only wrote this because there seemed to be a few toxic responses from the usual suspects based on very little evidence. Wishing Sean all the best at the Orient.
