You're still all over thinking it.

Increase the price of adult ST, children ST prices remain as are to ensure future fans are being brainwashed, problem goes away.
whose overthinking . One price only , then specifid discounts . OAP -Unemployed -Disabled -30% discount u-10s 65% discount - 10-16 50% discount. All season cards photo id & proof of category + official birth certificate. Gets rid of the fraudsters

TRUMP Plumbing wrote: Thu Mar 09, 2023 9:12 am You're all making this more complicated than it needs to be.

Do away with the heavily reduced adult ST in the North and you won't have people buying these kids STs needlessly.
How do you encourage families to come to games where families cannot afford full priced adult tickets as well as child tickets and all the pester purchases for kids like food / drink/ clubshop etc

If it appears expensive to get in ground, families will not attend and that is going to lose the club current income and more significantly future fans

:clown Perhaps the solution is for families to prove existence of their children, by sending them in post to the ticket office, along with a stamped addressed envelope so the child can be returned once its existence has been validated. Postal applications only. Obviously welfare of children is at parent's risk :clown

For the more right wing of you, we could have half time entertainment, with any adult found in North Stand that day without their child being summarily executed on the pitch

A win win situation, they offenders won't re-offend, and fans will get half time entertainment
I believe the club have previously stated the reason the adult price is discounted is for that reason, to encourage whole families, both parents/carers to come along.

That isn't what is happening though. There are only a very few families that attend. The North is full of groups of blokes - some very old - with no kids, possibly one kid, between them.

The system is being abused. The best way to combat it is to remove the cheap adult ST price. (And I'm saying this as a current beneficiary).
Totally agree, remove the cheap adult season ticket price and if kids want to go book their tickets for individual matches on line in advance as it will probably be cheaper for the parent as very few kids attend all home matches.

Then they dont need a season card . Simplest way 500 u-16 season cards offered . If only 250 are sold by 25th of July , the rest go back to adult tickets .

Many people have or know a child they could get these from. The issue is discounted adult tickets.

On average, 18% of seats sold are not used. They can’t all be kids seats

Might be mad, but how about a system where ST holders have to confirm there attendance at least 4 days before a game. If they don't then their seat will be available and they get credit towards the following season's ticket if its sold. If they confirm non attendance at least 7 days before they would get extra credit

Season ticket holders have paid for their seat. Whether they use it or not is up to them.

That's an incredible stat. Almost 1 in 5 seats sold are empty - on average - for every game? Is that right?

Too much hassle. Ticket office can barely sell tickets competently as it is.

If they are sold why is everyone getting their panties in a twist? Clubs got the dough.

This is fair enough. Although I have to say I usually see the same proportion of empty seats around the ground - the North doesn't seem any worse than anywhere else.

Simple facial recognition screens at entry gates would stop this. Impose a 10 year ban for committing fraud against LOFC puts a STOP to this !

They may have the dough for cheap seats but could get a lot more dough if they tightened up on cheap adult seats and ghost kids.

Lets go back in time - no advance ticket sales, no season tickets. Everyone queues up at turnstiles and pays cash.

any children can go in the boys ( and girls) enclosure which like in the old days at Everton is caged in and separated

Image

Disabled can sit in their 3 wheeled cars around the pitch.

no entry without toilet rolls to throw on the pitch
