Until some numpty steward opened the gate on the South terrace for the Cardiff fans. Quickest I’ve ever seen that stand clear out.

Charlie is your garden grass like brisbane Road and how it used to look? Also do you divot it now and again for old times sake?

Just to clear up the rumours - Janet was made redundant the season before I went. I found it impossible to work with the people Barry brought in so parted by mutual consent. Shook hands with Barry and left with a generous severance package.
I still watch all games home and away and I think it is now in the best possible hands. I love the Club and am in my 67th season.
Charlie, In hindsight, do you regret not taking the Wembley job when it was offered?

Went to a lot of games in late 60's/early 70s so got to know you, Charlie and pleased to bump into you from time to time. Remember Watford when I think you had been evicted 3 times before the game even started.
Does anyone remember a guy called Jim from those days; he only had one arm due to a motorbike accident in the Leytonstone station underpass. We used to stand in the West stand back then

All that happened at Watford was we had to remove our shoe laces before they would let us in. We never got them back!
