If that’s what he meant then yes. But I can’t see how you’ve jumped to that conclusion.
It’s more likely he meant that someone who fails to condemn, or even defends, the actions of a state like Israel should educate themselves so they know the full picture.

Im not jewish , but read it regularly when i was working.
It really is a decent paper & tries to represent all sides of a political spectrum.
Im pretty sure they made lots of noise with regards to Mordechai Vanunu .
If it was such a great read then it would not have gone bust.
Newspapers that fail to keep up with the trend that is the internet will find themselves largely confined to history.

If they were all loss making then they'd be out of business. 30 years ago they were still the mouthpiece of multi-millionaire egotists. Its changed a bit these days, although all of the familiars still seem to tread those well worn paths and agendas. just playing to their audiences.

Considering it was a free newspaper & picked up by most on a visit to the beigel shop or synagouges or wherever else , it was a decent read.

I see that Daniel Levy fella at Spurs has decided to take all the staff
he furloughed back on the books full time .

Spurs along with wingate & to a lesser extent Arsenal always had some of there news printed in the JC.
