Minimum 2 goals a game conceded continues - defence even with 5 at the back is struggling badly. Midfield creating nothing, forward line getting no chances...

Bloody awful. We’re in trouble this season on this showing so far. Our new head coach has his work cut out

Was just about to ask what he's done to deserve his starting spot back ahead of Gorman, who by all accounts sounded like he was starting to find form in the 4-3-3 formation.
I have no clue just like Ross in past few weeks. Rabbit in headlights.

Somebody needs to take control of the team and get the finger out at half time.

They are not a dreadful team but we’re not helping ourselves..The players are just not good enough mentality or physically.Their number 7 has the freedom of Brisbane road.Defence weak, midfield weak, our forwards not winning headers! A poor showing so far. There’s still hope in the second half unless Vale start off as the finished the first half and get an early third.

Enjoying the half time show, at least there's one bit of entertainment on the pitch today. Can we have the carnival drummers every week 8-)

Currently in San Francisco with work and paid £5 for the privilege of watching this utter dross.

I genuinely don’t understand the logic behind the team lineup and set up today. I’m not a football manager by any means but if I can see it I can’t comprehend how Ross Embleton can’t see it?

Winger up front with a semi-target man in Wilkinson? Dennis is not a natural at picking up the knock downs.

‘Wingbacks’ who won’t move past the half way line so we have no chance of even holding the ball in their half unless Wilkinson manages to take it on his chest, turn and hold onto it for 5 seconds which is a tough ask.

3 holding midfielders who can’t actually hold at all. Port Vale getting every second ball. With three centremids of their style how are Port Vale constantly getting the second ball from drop downs and rebounds.

To compound our misery every time we do play a long ball 50% of them fly off into the stands.

Here’s to a better second half...

Never fear, we’ve replaced the only defender having not a terrible game for Matt Harrold.

Clueless

Port Vale "goal" offside. Brill didn't even move for a cross coming into the box. Doesn't look mobile at all.

Happe heads over from a corner, that's our best hope I reckon.

Clay off for Brophy, should never have started.
