I'll judge him for myself when I see him play . After a few games if I think he's good or crap I'll say so .
This and at the very least he fits the mould of what RW was looking for (athletic, physically imposing and quick) unlike, say the Pigott signing who was obvious was a square peg in our system from day one.

Slightly alarmed at how quickly he's moved on from other league one clubs

3 yr contract at Oxford, left after 6 months!
3yr contract at Wigan, left after one season

He sees me as a central midfielder and that’s where I see myself - someone who can be box-to-box, get forward but also get back and help the team defend.
When he signed on loan for Burton

He seems like a journeyman to me.

Can't believe we paid a fee

He's had a load of clubs, fans say he's pants, I think we're panicking, just like last year when we brought Pigott in.

Loads of players out there for free and we bring in a right back for good money, when it's a left back we needed

Sorry, but it needed to be said

Having tried out a couple of full backs pre-season we have brought in a player on a 3 year deal in front of them. Wellens and the club must believe in this bloke.

Welcome Sean Clare and the best of luck.

Totally disagree.

Wellens wants TJ in the starting team.
We're not paying a fee for someone to sit on the bench, where does tj play then?

Agree with that 100%. Richie is the best manager we've had, but he still makes mistakes..... Everyone does.

Shame some on here thinks everything the club does is fantastic all the time.

Richie made a huge mistake this time last year bringing Pigott in.

Whether Clare is any good we'll have to wait and see, but the fact that several clubs have bought him, then let him go after a shortish time into his contract, worries me a little.

Also the club let Hunt go, because we wanted a dynamic athletic left back..... Well Clare is a right back.

I don't think that's true, but some of us do think the current regime generally gets more right than wrong. We also choose not to criticise them when they do get something wrong, it happens. In particular we don't slag a player off before he's even had a chance to prove himself with an Orient shirt on.
