That would be a drop in the ocean compared what Sid sensibly suggests. Maybe that is what is the problem concerning police recruitment . They are enrolled from those available in society and the rogues are slipping through the poor vetting .

If you actually read why they are taking this action you may possibly understand. Likewise, if you read the link I posted earlier, I post again for ease, the calls for ‘justice’ seems to prejudge this case. Everyone is entitled to a fair trial, even an accused Police Officer.

This is nothing to do with the police being held to account.
The CPS following investigation by the IOPC have charged the officer with Murder. The officer is facing life imprisonment if convicted by a Jury.

Jean Charles Menendez was unarmed at Stockwell on the Tube, when the Officer concerned shot him repeatedly. The Officer was not charged. Proving the intent when the Officer has to make a decision in a split second is the issue and in this most recent case a decision had to be made with the information he had about the car and the driver. The driver was ramming his vehicle at police cars and towards the police. The full circumstances will be aired at the trial. Police should be investigated for wrong doings of course . Point is people are prejudging it all as though the trial will be a foredrawn conclusion.

The police did not get away with Murder, no officers were charged with Murder. They are all judged on their own merit. In this case as mentioned in the link , the police showed Chris Kaba’s family the body cam footage as they demanded and having seen that were content with justice taking its course.

Apart from the policing of the vigil, I reckon they did a good job of catching him so quickly, shame the various police forces missed all the opportunities before this to stop him though.

That kind of shows they're as crap at running their own business as they are at running their contracts. Can only imagine the scale of the backhanders flying around to get them so many Government contracts (allegedly).
