Practice run ? I’m sitting in a packed pub. No letters different set up. Never rush a craftsman

To be honest, I don't think this is a fair test.
How would a user know if they're being treated fairly.
I don't know.
Can't you think of another way to test?
Knowing this word is just a matter of luck, isn't it?

I suggested a verifiable fair way with money going to good causes. Pudsey is sad and I'm so annoyed I just PUNCHed my computer screen.

I think we agreed a practice run before I sign my house over. I am in this packed Wetherspoons with kids screaming etc. I normally do mine in the early hours of the morning. I don’t even have a pen to make notes 🀨πŸ₯²πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ˜”πŸ˜€

Ehm, dont you trust your great Administrator?

I'm trying to replicate the Wordle experience here, I dont see where luck comes into it.

Quite enjoyed that, thanks. Was very trying without the letters and format, noise, etc. I obviously made fundamental schoolboy error .How do you get the green black and yellow boxes?

I went to the great length last night of asking chatgpt to convert my code to c++ to speed things up and the results are in. I found a run where Admin and Express Bot both played the same 27 games. After seeing that Admin could beat the computer about 0.1% of the time I set them off against each other.

If that series of games were repeated a million times, Admin would beat Express Bot on 74 occasions, which I think is an achievement to be proud of.

No, it means your sample was slightly better than StillSpike's. You had a great run of an eagle and 3 birdies in about 6 or 7 games but as you have recognised there isn't actually much skill in Wordle. Your good scores match quite nicely with the list size you were choosing from, as does Spike's. For some reason Express Bot's is a bit more random.

I think Spike plays on hard mode though.

Hello,

I have looked and am agreeing to it except posting my rear end, can you think up something else?

I am not 100% sure how this works. You mean one game every 72 hours or part of game?

Also , taking the first game in your list. Are you saying the green box is an β€˜I’ for example? Other than that all agreed.

OK. I've taken out the requirement to post your butt. Just one response every 72 hours, I won't hold you strictly to it but just an attempt at a clause to not get out of it by not completing (for what it's worth I don't think you'd do that).

I am making the assumption a maximum payout of Β£275 if you have an absolute nightmare wouldn't be too much of a hardship, but happy to adjust terms before ypu start. If you did manage somehow to get them all right I'd applaud whatever method you found and pay up, but would need to do it over a couple of months.

Game 1 third letter is indeed I.

What does hard mode do? Wasn't even aware there was another mode.
