I think it’s omly right that every player has the badge tattooed on their chest where the crest sits on the shirt, cut that bit of the shirt out thus showing the tattoo. The club saves money on all the holes of material not required, the players show they care by having the tattoo and you can colour it in any colour you want.
Everyone’s a winner baby!
Jeez your frecked if your a journeyman then

Eagy has it right above, the issue is with trying to place the border around the badge. It just looks wrong.

Seems to be alot complaining about changing the badge etc . Just to remind everyone the badge officially is this .
Set on a white background form the 77-78 season where our 1st ( Home) kit was predominnantly White .
I hate not seeing the badge clearly on the red shirts .
The old red shirts had a white dragon (griffin) .
There has been no change of the badge .
The badge is set as it should be .
Clean & on a white background.
Look how good it looks on the
commemotlrative shirts.

Mine is in storage so havent looked at it.
Still stands that it shows up better on a broad white background even on the chevron. Plus it was on a white background on the braces when the badge was 1st worn by the club.
People claiming the badge has been changed .
Popoycock !!
The badge is just being shown correctly on merch.
We dont even know the new kit design yet , but if its a red kit , i hope the badge is shown correctly & will be on a white background as designed originally

Sorry to say but looking back at kits it would seem a predominantly red shirt would have red badge background and a predominately white shirt would have a white badge background
I’ve never seen a white badge background on a red shirt it wouldn’t look right

Really ?
The kit of the mid 70s had a red dragon badge ?
Red background ( red shirt ) white dragon ( griffin )
The kit of the late 70s early 80s
Badge on a white background ( white shirt) .
That badge was always shown as the Orient badge on a
White background ( white shirt) .
If this seasons shirt is a red shirt then the badge on a white background on a red shirt will show the badge as it was meant to be seenoriginally
Seems like some amongst us like a camouflaged hidden badge . Why hide it .

Looks OK to me - main thing is the Wyverns stand out nicely.

You’ve just reversed 100% to what you actually stated
I give up I don’t want to be accused of bullying again

On the 70s braces kit the ball was red. But it is white on the official crest.
The wyverns were red on the white kit, but white on the blue and red kits. Ball was white on red kit.
On keepers shirts wyverns and ball were white.

So confirming the point, that talk about a badge change is probably 25+ years.to late .
That'll do me.
I like the new version of the badge on the NB training gear etc

Nothing beats the badge when it's actually a solid part of the kit, but this option with the white background is much nicer than having a sticker like in recent years.
Exactly

For me red on red always has been an issue. A white background is so much better unless we'd returned to the white wyverns we had when I first started watching Orient in the 80s.
People make a lot of noise when they don't like something or they struggle to deal with change. Given time they'll learn to love it.
