Nah, you are. I guarantee you would say what you said in public. Shithouse.
Why would I not? Name calling is weakening your argument. Parents should feed their own children. Why should people expect others to feed them? I came from a large family but my parents did without to put food on the table. No holidays, no car, they managed though. We never starved.
This is totally correct.
A loaf of Bread at Lidl’s is 45p
4 pints of milk £1.09
500 g minced beef £1.49
500 g Pasta 28 p.
Box of Cornflakes 50 p
And people still believe that they can’t afford to get by?
We seem to forget that the Welfare state was brought in out so citizens didn’t starve,
This does not entitle you to own any luxuries like a mobile phone etc.
That’s for people who go to work.

Clive Evans wrote: Thu Oct 22, 2020 7:00 am It is all very well saying that feckless people shouldn't have kids and that there is no logical reason why kids should be hungry in the UK in this day and age; but they are and that is a fact. You can hardly blame kids under the age of 14 for being hungry can you? Should we all blame toddlers? The last time a nation in Europe tried to do something radical about people who don't " fit-in " we went to war with them. I am surprised at the amount of Fascists in the UK. Perhaps they don't realise how reactionary their beliefs are . In this time of turmoil, surely we should show more compassion.
So everybody who believes that Tax payers money is used wisely is a Fascist?
Ok.

I along with my siblings were on free school meals. In the holidays , we had to ‘make do’. It is part of being self sufficiency. Not having to expect help at every moment of crisis like the modern day Snowflake generation. Is it any wonder that inadequate parents cannot provide for their children when the same useless people are sending their kids to school not toilet trained!

More desperation by being abusive?

Rashford means well but is the frontman for a politically motivated cause. Much of this is lefty propaganda, by desperate Remoaners, still wounded by their failed hijacking of Brexit and retribution against the Tories and Boris who ‘got Brexit done’.

If this is done by doling out more cash, wont these irresponsible parents just spend it on extra fags and widescreen tvs?

That has always been the case.
You are aware that parents receive child benefit?
This is where people have lost their self respect.
It used to be embarrassing to ask or expect handouts.

Do you know about his background.

This was something that happened to him as a kid.

You want footballers to be role models and when they are slag them off, the mind boggles.

As for the MP that accused him of virtue signalling think someone is jealous that Rashford has had more political influence than him.

My sister bought up 3 kids alone When her husband done a bunk.
Her kids had free school meals and she was embarrassed.
She still managed to get by during the holidays though.

Probably the same parents who take their kids to school in their pyjamas.

Daily Mail reporter Andrew Pierce on Sky this morning was suprised the govt didnt do this.

He said its only £175 million for it & that it really didnt make much sense not to ,
considering how much has been spent on Covid in General .

What it really says to me is the U.K is seriously skint & with the Brexit farce
about to kick in soon enough they are already tightening the belt on spending .

And why do you think we need food banks now and we didn’t need them in the early 80s under Thatcher with 3.3 million unemployed?

There were more starving kids?

I wasn't around then, and frankly, I'm not sure why it matters.

If you are cool with kids not being able to eat then it's not me you have to square that with.

These dickheads suffered when they were young, so they now think everyone else should too. Clearly their borderline alcoholic Dads never showed them any love. Emotionally stunted pricks.
