Really?

The UK is a 'Democracy'?

Can you please remind me again when the Royal Family were elected by the British people?
Or Cummings, the real king on the throne.
After the death of the "Great Protecter" and father of "Democracy" Oliver Cromwell, the House Parliament eventually asked Prince Charles 1st son to return to England to become Charles 2nd. so there must have been a vote in the "House of Commons

Pretty sure you'll find that it was far from a universal electorate ion those times.

You're confusing being factually accurate with pedantry. I suggest you use some of your spare time to look at a dictionary. Cromwell may well have been the father of democracy but the then parliament was, as I pointed out, a long way from being democratic. And, I would argue, it still is.

As I said, for those times it was democracy, a young fledgling one at that, you are comparing to today's version which is unfair, you would argue just for the sake of it, as for your silly comment implying we are a long war from democracy. read your history
as to what this nation has brought to the world, nearly all versions of democracy are based on what we brought table as opposed to those other bastions of democracy Russia, China and all Totalitarian states, Scotland included

You can't say that about Scotland. Our one party state has a benevolent, but devious, dictator.

Sorry, your post is a bit garbled so, just to be clear, are you saying Scotland is a totalitarian state?. A simple yes or no is all that is required.

It was simply tacked on the end as bait for our scotishland readers and Max B Gold and Stillspike duly took the bait
Stop trying to be clever by trying to limit the response from fellow boarders and inferring you are superior. Ps have tidy it up for you. I'm not interested in your reply I wont read it so don't bother

It's now clear you can neither read nor construct a rational argument so I have no need to infer my superiority - it becomes self evident. For the rest of the boarders anyway, you can continue to wallow in ignorance.
