What a surprise, not !

Scoring so early. Then retreat and hold what you have. Talk about negative. Need a manager ASAP.

I still hope we do get a result.

And now 1-2 again Brill makes a save, defence switches off from the corner. Don't win first ball, nor the second and it's in.

Ross' tactics are clueless.

Falling apart against a dreadful team. New manager needed asap.

Once again you have to point to the tactics and approach. Even with a good start it's so negative. Go out and try win the game FFS.

Seem to have lost all momentum now.

Can only think we started in this formation because they have run out of ideas.

Please let us get to half time so Happe can be subbed off, not because he deserves it, but cos he is always the fall guy.

Too many of this team are not up to the step up.

At present we are relegation fodder.

Playing three midfielders who are all exactly the same type of player and a left back that is patently out of his depth aren't helping. Not much Embleton can do about the latter, bad recruitment, but Joe looks hopeless in a 3-5-2.

Afternoon exiles & moaners. I should have been getting on a plane to Bogota tonight but a clotty leg has blown our month in S.America plan out of the water.

So an hour or so on the sofa with my leg elevated on cushions instead this afternoon. No doubt Orient will be cheer me up :(

They are quicker, stronger and targeting our left side. Sorry but we are in big trouble at present.

Rightly so too. Get a great start, chance to get some feel good going and immediately retreat into full blown panic mode.

How many times does Ross have to repeat the same mistake with this formation or is it Ling picking the team?

At home you just want to see your side give it a go but it's just surrender to the opposition week in week out.

They've had almost 60% possession against us, but we've brought it upon ourselves.

Worst defensive record in the League and only three points off the bottom, fair play to Ross for stepping down now, we could have been in real trouble waiting another month.

1-2 at half-time would not be too bad, I'd expect at least one sub.

On every corner, we never got a clearing header in.

Problem is that he hasn't learnt anything from the previous starting line ups, tactics or formation.

Some of the players are out of their depth. We simply can't defend at the moment.

Quite right too, it has been obvious for weeks that Ross Embleton is not up to the job, he should have done the honourable thing ages ago and step down!
The owners are equally to blame for not taking the initiative at the end of August, it’s a total f*ck up .Now we have to wait who knows how long to repair the damage done by inaction.
This is not the way to treat loyal fans or attract new ones, watch the gates plummet unless an experienced Manager at this level is appointed pronto, all the time Ross continues so will our position in the league get closer to relegation.

Was just about to ask what he's done to deserve his starting spot back ahead of Gorman, who by all accounts sounded like he was starting to find form in the 4-3-3 formation.

HT, pathetic showing again. Only positive is we had an unexpected goal that means we're not in the usual 0-2 position.

The game ain't over yet, we could still get something from the game, get Brophy on and change the formation.

The defensive stuff is really worrying. I just don't think we've got the coaches and that needs to be rectified. By keeping Ross as assistant we pretty much have to get a good defensive organiser from the new manager, which cuts down the number of managers we could get. In the past defensive nous could be provided by the assistant (ie Dean Smith when Ling was manager).

Coulson out.
