Clearance over the injury, least that was my understandingHoover Attack wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 11:49 amWhys that? Clearance over his injury or because the season has ended and this is an extension?
Don't think it was numerical, it was pretty much 3 v 3 in there - their full backs weren't the sort to step into midfield and play. It's because their 3 were better than our 3 on the day (because we set up wrong).Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 7:44 am Part of the reason we got bossed in midfield at times too
It's this.ContrifibulatoryFred wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 8:19 am We will need to be different gravy v Stockpot tonight
Nah. Agyei is a threat on the right because he can go both ways. He's not cutting in from the left and firing a right footed shot away.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 8:23 am Just had a game changing thought on my morning run.
Ageyi was basically marked out of the game on Saturday whilst their right winger ran riot.
He’s played there before, so I’d be tempted to start Ageyi on the left. If he gets the ball a few times in the opening 5-10 mins and causes problems it will draw back their ten into a covering role. You obviously risk ageyi not tracking back effectively but it’s an aggressive tactic worth trying for 20 mins and he can move to the right if it’s not paying off
Let’s hope they bisto us with top notch performances. Neither you Knorr I can predict which Stockpot will turn up tonightHoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 8:24 amIt's this.ContrifibulatoryFred wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 8:19 am We will need to be different gravy v Stockpot tonight
How many of our players were a 7 or 8 out of 10? Maybe Beckles? That's probably it - certainly none of our forward/creative players. If we have 5 or 6 players put in 7 or 8s out of 10, we'll be ok. Listening to their feedback, that was the best Fevrier and Moxon have played this season. We just need our players to play to their potential.
He got the cross that led to the penalty, very similar to the assists against Cambridge and Wycombe. Even if he's having a quiet game, he's the sort of player that only needs to get the full back isolated once to create or score a goal.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 8:23 am Just had a game changing thought on my morning run.

Agree. He’s definitely more effective on the left but it would make them think a bit if he’s on the right for 20 mins. Reckon he may swap a few times actuallyMistadobalina wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 9:28 amHe got the cross that led to the penalty, very similar to the assists against Cambridge and Wycombe. It's exactly this. Because he can go outside on the right and play a cross into the box - think back to our second v Huddersfield - defenders have a problem. If he's playing left, there's no way he's cutting inside and curling a cross or shot in with his right foot.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 9:28 amHe got the cross that led to the penalty, very similar to the assists against Cambridge and Wycombe. Richie also wanted to but James and Currie are only coming back to full fitness . I think Currie will probably start tonight with James coming on in the second half . Personally , I wish we could start with them both .Tactically we looked more reassured at the back when they both came on last Saturday .
