Vigs, El Miz, full backs, quality striker, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
At least you're right on one thing . We ain't seen nothing yet and probably won't do . It's the same old same old . Last minute .com.

In a few weeks time, RW will be moaning in an interview that we left it too late late bringing players in, etc etc just as he did last season

Our current transfer policy cost us a play off spot last season.

If Richie had been given the players in June/early July instead of July/August, we might have got some points from our first 4 games.

If Richie had been given the striker we so desperately needed in the Jan transfer window, instead of 2 kids, we might have got some points when Agyei was out.

Our transfer policy cost us last season.

I know we are always slow in signing players, and as fans we want to see biz done quicker, but slowly slowly catchy monkey.

However saying that, yes we are the tortoise 🐢 but some days it would be nice to be the hare 🐇
But we all know who wins the race in the end 😉

Patience guys, it’s 4th July, in LOFC we trust 😬

This is 100% correct.

To be honest, I'm not sure our owners actually want us to go up to the Championship, whatever they say to the contrary.

Championship teams are losing around 20 million a year, and I'm not sure T & T fancy that.

Paid his wages for 2 full years, developed him from a nobody to (probably) a Championship standard player, didn't receive a penny for all our efforts.

Great transfer policy, that.

Did we pay all his wages? Anyway I think we got value for money in those two years. Would you rather we had not loaned him

Agree on this one, turned our liability midfield into our biggest strength. Imagine if we still had Coleman and Young in there instead :~

One wonders whether Pigott's salary is causing a problem - makes him difficult to move him on without a significant payoff. That alone would really take a big chunk out of our budget.

Just seems unfair to punish Richie this season for Lings balls up last August. Pay it up from outside the playing budget, get him gone, learn from the mistake....

Loan him out. Get what we can from that. Can't see anyone wanting to buy and offer anything like he's on at the moment.

Hopefully his agent is hawking him around to see if they can find the highest bidder.

It's at a point where anything we can recoup is a win now, as it stands we've got a player for the League Cup and EFL Trophy games and that's about it

"Pay it up from outside the playing budget". That's not the way budgets are supposed to work.

It's perfectly normal to have extraordinary items treated outside of ordinary activities. I think this qualifies.

Unfortunately , if and when he goes to Oxford we'll know what we're missing .
