I feel for Wellens,he’s having to change his plans every winter window, the same happened last year when we had to bring in another CB. I don’t think your see Drinnon in an O’s shirt next season he’s simply not good enough. That’s why I was so surprised at people wanting Kelman back? He wasn’t good enough either. Still supporters see things in different players but what they see in Drinnon baffles me

He is not good enough at this level, he is average at very best at league 2 and that is pushing it, however I think you will agree he is definitely not good enough for this level or higher. A striker that scored 13 goals one season and has a combined tally of less than 30 in over 110+ games should not be earning £3500 per week and definitely not from this club.

Drinan has played 1 full season only at Orient just so you know. Injury affected last season & yet to have 5 starts this.

the amount of minutes this season does not explain away less than 30 goals in however many years he has been playing. I appreciate you are trying to defend him but I think you are in the minority. The fact he only got 11 minutes today stated to me that even RW doesn’t think he can change the outcome and threw him on in desperation.

played less minutes this season than it took pigot to get off the mark. was half way to 30 after his 1st season & season 2 plagued by injury. Facts & not defending anybody.

Out of interest how many of his 13 goals would you estimate to be a 'fluke'?

What we have now is what we have till January at the least, let’s get behind the team, that’s the whole squad, they all do their best whenever they are picked, sometimes going weeks without a game. Players can’t all be stars, every team has its share of players who do a lot of work during a game but don’t grab the headlines. A few weeks ago I was just hoping to see Orient mid table, now our expectations have been raised, but our main aim this year has always been consolidation anything more will be a big bonus….up the O’s

The Drinan detractors must have hated it when he notched up 16 goals in that first season. And remember he's not even your out and out 'striker'. It's all so easy to sit back and smugly criticise now that he's lost all form after suffering a bad injury and has since been shuffled about in and out of the team in different positions. All I would say is, this should be taken into consideration, as well as giving credit where credit is due to the player after that very good season.
