GRIPE/REMINDER TIME - To all those on here about giving him enough budget.

He effetcively agreed his league one budget before signing his new deal a few months back. Just listen to the noises made by Kent (the end of season do being the latest) and by Nigel. Both of them have never - to the best of my knowledge - ever let Orient down on a promise. They gave Ritchie the budget he was seeking. Let's hope its spent well and we are fortunate with injuries next season. That's the sort of springboard we all need - supporters, players, board, staff and the manager.

You tend to forget, a lot of people on here don't bother to listen to interviews.

It looks like Reading are going to play in EFL 1 next season. Huddersfield are leading Sheff U. They only need a point.

No way he’s going reading considering we will be in the same league and they are a basket case.

Yeah it looks like he's off to Berksheer to manage the Thames Valley Royals. Never mind Roy Carroll will slot in well at Brisbane Road in a swap deal. Lingy will get this one over the line.

What with R!chie going to Reading and the incoming points deduction for fielding a weakened catering team at the "promotion" party, meaning that we're back in the playoffs, I don't think this week could get any worse.

I believe I meant Andy Carroll but I don't expect him to hang around for long once he finds out he is part of a TEN year plan.

I expect Richie to be linked with any number of jobs during the Summer because he's proven himself to be a good manager . However in our favour he loves it at Orient so I think he'll stay for at least another season . As I said on another thread it's vital Richie stays to help stabilise us as a League One club . We don't want to be the next Forest Green .

None of that will stop his agent touting him around to other teams though.

He'll be linked, key things are which players are staying ie if four of the starting eleven go, then that's a big thing, and which jobs come up, ie I'm not sure Reading is that great of move really

Also it's football in four months time Orient could be 22nd, playing awful football and then people have turned on him, which maybe fair enough but that's how football goes

We will probably win our first six games. Ascend to the top of the standings. Stay there all season and go up champions. But only if Richard stays. If not, its bottom of the league from match day 1 and relegation with 24 points.

You won't be saying that when I win the Euromillions jackpot tonight (Est £138m) and invest £10m in Orient on the condition that I am made manager with Ritchie as Head Coach (if he hasn't left by then) and LingO as DoF even though I'm not at all keen on the DoF position.
