LSN's change of starting word to the proven optimal is noted. It's slight advantage is in the increased flexibility of the second guess by saving a vowel. Great for an algorithm running through the allowed list of words, not so great otherwise.

I assume everyone has just the one starting word that they use each day and which remains largely unchanged - other than when they learn of a new strategy. Does anyone here change their starting word each day depending on how they feel?
