It's more the fact our players are simply not good enough .
We were 2-0 up and he made two changes, changes alter the course of games BW score and get momentum, players were good enough to be two up but RW tinkered.
You can't play the starting XI the entire game especially with our squad that doesn't seem to be able to last the pace. Though I guess it could be argued Pratley could've come on in place of Brown at least you'd get some leadership there.

Fair enough but how many times do we make substitutions that has no impact or like today makes things worse . That's down to having a poor squad of players to choose from .

Don’t think RW was too happy with the fans at the end.

Why would our fans be happy after that dog sh*t performance on top of last weeks debacle .?

We as fans have the right to be unhappy with that performance and vent our anger and Frustration.
We will all calm down and be happy we are in the hat when The 2nd round draw is made.
Today’s performance and result just confirms what we already knew, we are not good enough to keep our L1 place and will be relegated to L2 next season.

Common practice is don’t make subs if you are winning - we were 2-0 up and reasonably comfortable, RW should have left well alone.

2nd round draw guaranteed £20k on top of the £45 k won for winning on penalties & the possibility of £70k for winning rd 2 .£25k for getting to rd 3 & £115k if we won that plus attendance splits.
So for prize money winning round 1 we've already won more than getting to play Brentford in the Mickey Mouse league Cup.
Win 3rd round we've got 200k to splash in January.
Lose today we get £15k. Exactly what we got for how far we got against Brentford . Be Happy because it's a boost to finances, that could get used for a striker.

Simple Economics, surely being a Trump fan you can understand that

Didn’t have to make two double subs he does it all the time and it rarely makes it better.if you are controlling the game or it’s in the balance change it as little as possible. Your character assassination of Brown is relentless.

One of a number of players I personally wouldn't want in a League 1 squad. Nothing about his character, just what's shown on the pitch. Just a utility player to cover a few positions when there's no other options.

This isn’t 1978, the game isn’t played with 11 players anymore.

We should be able to make 2 changes without it affecting the quality of the line up that drastically.

The players now should be fitter and have more technical ability, they’re also playing on far better pitches, of course they should be able to last a whole game.

Undoubtedly.

But it shouldn’t. Brown and Obeiro was the first change, wasn’t it? I like both, shouldn’t have been an issue, how do you account for both having stinkers?

😂

The players are fitter than they ever have been. They get through more work than they ever have done. That’s why you need substitutions.

Agree but the problems with some of the subs are the knock ons and the players still left out there.

Bringing on Brown pushed out best player to right back, Gailbraith who is wasted there but also isn’t the best defender- a strange move in a game you need to see out.

Couple that with leaving Perkins out there to act as cover for Ethan, someone inexperienced and lacking game time meant that they walked through our right side for their goal.

He knows that, we all know that... he's right to say Wellens is always making too many substitutions. Overuse is a team disruption.
