Unfortunately I really have to do some of the work I'm paid to do but I think I can write a macro for guesses in three to work out the words that had to be remaining from the second guess, hence the probability of making the final guess.

For example:

Wordle 403 - MOTTO

Take the list of words that are valid answers (this is a much shorter list than the allowed words)

From Bonio's second guess his word can't have started with an M or ended with an O so we can exclude those.from that list.

From the remaining list I then calculate the letter frequency for those words only.

Then count the number of unknown letters from the first 2 guesses (9) and exclude any words containg any of the top 9 letters by frequency (e,a,r,l,I,s,,n,u,c). O and T would be in that list but are in the solved word.

I may try and get round to coding a solution which picks the best possible word from the allowed list but for now this provides an overestimation of the words that could have been excluded.

This shows that Bonio must have had a worse than 1 in 21 chance of guessing motto from the second guess position.

Same analysis of wordle 402 CINCH gives 1/11 words .

As these odds are independent they can be multiplied, so just for those two results there is a 0.43% probability of success in 3 on both games from the information he has provided.

Not annoyed, just slightly amused/bemused that you think anyone would believe you aren't cheating, but each to their own and all that.

I think where people who are massaging their scores go wrong is in thinking that low scores are related to skill, when actually 44% of the time a three or less can only be achieved by luck.

Recent words that can only be solved in four with a perfect strategy are Rhyme,Youth,Putty,Motto and Buggy.

You can only get those word in three by playing a less than a perfect strategy, which by definition will reduce you average success rate overall

In short, anyone claiming consistent 3's or an average less than 3.42 is without a shadow of a doubt cheating, and not just by getting help using a wordle solver but by either having information in advance or just faking a score.

I was just about to run the calculation for BoniO and realised he wasn't actually posting every day. Personally I think that still deserves a yellow card for unsporting behaviour if he was only posting the good scores but reluctantly conceding he may not be a full on dirty cheat.
