Simeon Jackson (32) has joined Stevenage on a free-transfer.

That would be a proper signing and a show of intent to make the play offs this season.

Our League Two rivals seem to be making some very good and shrewd signings. What are we doing ?

The club make excuses and say that the Scouts are looking, so basically f*ck all !
Players to bring in should have been lined up and ready to sign from day 1 of the transfer window.
The club are trying to wing it on the cheap, the sooner Ling goes as DOF the sooner a decent bit of dosh will be freed up.

There were only 3 signings on Jan 1st in the football league, on Jan 2nd we made a signing. You are being totally unrealistic and unfair. What job do you excel at professionally, apart from moaning?

But PW the club said we would be bringing players in before the port vale game, then we were getting further players in before today’s game. Talk is cheap. Yes the window is still open and yes we can still sign xyz players, but the club is raising expectations and then not delivering, maybe for valid reasons. But why make the unnecessarily comments?

I heard tonight that
3 players turned down offers from us.

London is not a big draw, it puts a lot of
people off , House prices etc.

It’s easy for an agent and a player to say no innit
