VeganO, is that the same Amnesty International that earlier this month on the 25th anniversary of 911 tweeted this:
Al-Qaeda’s September 11th attacks were a crime against humanity that killed nearly 3000 people. The U.S. government responded with a campaign of widespread abuses against Muslim, Brown and Black communities.
Amnesty International's agenda, vision or mission is unknown to me, so I'll let some of that tweet's horrified replies speak instead:
"The terrorists get a footnote. America gets the blame. That tells you everything about who and what Amnesty International is supporting today."
and
"You motherfuckers can't even denounce the DEFINING terrorist attack of the 21st century on it's own f*cking terms. You're f*cking useless as an organization. Genuinely do the world a favor and shut down."
and
"It's perplexing to think there was a time when Amnesty was considered a respectable NGO and not whatever the hell you are now"
and
"Never ever give Amnesty International a single penny. Remember them for these villainous lies."
and
"You make a mockery of human rights. Absolutely revolting & pathetic attempt to launder theocratic terrorism."
and
"An international organization that does nothing to fight for women's or LGBTQ+ rights in nation's where they are put to death for existing. Its so much safer and more convenient to fight an imaginary oppressor. You're a joke."
and
"An absolutely sickening post. We now need an Amnesty International 2.0 to campaign against the likes of what Amnesty has become."
But getting back to the topic of this thread: what Diversity/Equity/Inclusion lessons can the Republic of Ireland national football team set-up learn from the Israeli national football team set-up as the latter seems to be (from my minimal research) representing at least four religions, you know, in an inclusive, non-segregational way. It would appear that they have a more religiously diverse and inclusive team make-up say than the Republic of Ireland who this poll is about.
What The Irish can learn is Never to do this
As for Politics out of Football
Well theyve blown that one as well
Shameful acts by a Shameful country
Edit -
It seems there are Some Israeli
Supporters who dont want this racism
to be seen & are actively trying to take
Action against racist abuse of
a Man of Colour taken down.
They truly are in Control of the U.S &
Some of it's Citizens eh Elon !
