Im sure that Palestinians everywhere will be Happy right now even if it is just a small moment in time
You really are sticking with this aren't you.

So by playing against Russia in the years between 2014 and 2022, Ireland stood up for the oppressed?

I assure you that it will barely even be on their radars. Some might even be hoping that Anan Khalaili has a good game.
Ireland haven't played Russia since 2011.

No, the Republic of Ireland Women only played Russia twice in 2014. Unlike you, I will put that down to misunderstanding rather than calling you a liar.

Not link both games in 2014 & the 2022 game ?
And why are you linking a Protestant British newspaper ?

I don't have to justify what I post to you. Nothing about it was incorrect.

We've established that you cant defend the claim that Ireland always supports the oppressed.

You then called me a liar because you misread my post and thought I meant post 2022, not pre 2022.

Your unwillingness to accept that led to you choosing to avoid my arguments by arguing that Russia invaded and annexed only 'part' of Ukraine and not 'parts'. Even though this had no bearing on the original point, I was willing to accept that only 'part' of Ukraine had been annexed (even though two administrative regions had been annexed).

You then suggested that Russia was not oppressing Ukraine by annexing it's land.

You then made a supportive reference to the IRA.

I will leave it up to anyone still bored enough to be reading this thread to decide who is 'making this 5h!te up as you go along'.

Good night.

Can you elaborate on your knowledge of the "apartheid policies of the Israeli government", VeganO. And then please explain why the Israeli national football setup gets to seemingly bypass those policies?

Seeing as at least four different religions are represented in that Israeli footy setup team, I wonder how the apartheid segregation you shriek about is applied...
https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/campa ... apartheid/

This should help you understand why Israel is an apartheid state. This was 2022 & things are a lot worse now. This is a Government which you admit to knowing little about so could be quite educational for you.
Or maybe it's yet another organisation telling lies about Israel
Why does everyone keep making all these allegations? The answer is that Israel is doing what it is accused of & the evidence is overwhelming

VeganO, is that the same Amnesty International that earlier this month on the 25th anniversary of 911 tweeted this:

Al-Qaeda’s September 11th attacks were a crime against humanity that killed nearly 3000 people. The U.S. government responded with a campaign of widespread abuses against Muslim, Brown and Black communities.

Amnesty International's agenda, vision or mission is unknown to me, so I'll let some of that tweet's horrified replies speak instead:
"The terrorists get a footnote. America gets the blame. That tells you everything about who and what Amnesty International is supporting today."

and

"You motherfuckers can't even denounce the DEFINING terrorist attack of the 21st century on it's own f*cking terms. You're f*cking useless as an organization. Genuinely do the world a favor and shut down."

and

"It's perplexing to think there was a time when Amnesty was considered a respectable NGO and not whatever the hell you are now"

and

"Never ever give Amnesty International a single penny. Remember them for these villainous lies."

and

"You make a mockery of human rights. Absolutely revolting & pathetic attempt to launder theocratic terrorism."

and

"An international organization that does nothing to fight for women's or LGBTQ+ rights in nation's where they are put to death for existing. Its so much safer and more convenient to fight an imaginary oppressor. You're a joke."

and

"An absolutely sickening post. We now need an Amnesty International 2.0 to campaign against the likes of what Amnesty has become."

But getting back to the topic of this thread: what Diversity/Equity/Inclusion lessons can the Republic of Ireland national football team set-up learn from the Israeli national football team set-up as the latter seems to be (from my minimal research) representing at least four religions, you know, in an inclusive, non-segregational way. It would appear that they have a more religiously diverse and inclusive team make-up say than the Republic of Ireland who this poll is about.

More obfuscarion from you. You missed the bit in the tweet about Sept 11th attacks being a crime against humanity, did you!
What you don't do of course is deal with all the allegations in the article & Amnesty's report.
More desperate stuff from you & you continue to uncritically defend Israel & rubbish all criticism of them - a Government which you admit you know little about.
Just what is the matter with you?
Do you have any conscience or compassion for the lives of non-Israeli's? Seemingly not.
