Not sure we were at a low ebb when Judd came in... Ling and Elokobi got crocked at similar times and him and Marv came into the side at more or less the same time.

If we are using stats I think he was our best defender last year.... We conceded something like 10 in 20 games with him in the team, on his comeback he got sent off and played once more in the League.

I still rate him ahead of Ling based on what I have seen of the two players. Both need good seasons though, I believe they are out of contract at the end of it.

Judd performed manfully when we got relegated out of League Two when senior pros were bottling it, but not a fan of giving contracts on sentiment. I do believe it's within our means to purchase an experienced pro at this level who will be better than both of them.

Disagree with your final line, I believe Judd is the better player at the moment. And will ultimately be much the better.

Judd will clearly have a much better career. Be surprised if Ling ever plays above this level, unless it’s with us I guess.
