Why isnt Judd Playing?

Its been touched on, on a few threads, but I think its worth a thread of its own

I think Judd is a better choice than Ling, but Ling gets the nod!

I dont want to think its nepotism, but I cant think of another reason.

so what do you guys think?

Not nepotism at all. They clearly think Ling is the more solid choice at the moment. We don't see what happens in training and as a younger player I think there's some bias in how we view Judd.

That said, Judd will eventually get his turn and hopefully stay in the team.

The problem with Ling is that the 5 at the back formation has a very heavy reliance on the fullbacks to create from wide areas and Ling doesn’t at all.

That's an excellent question that maybe one Nigel could answer tonight on the Orient outlook podcast. Bttt, I would play Judd on Tuesday night and see how he goes .

Judd little doubt will play on Tuesday, as will Sarge, Alabi, Harold, Dennis and Gorman. Marv may get some game time too. Not too sure who we’ve got to cover for Coulson or Happe so they may need to play unless we go on a suicide mission with the kids.

Assuming fitness of course.

I expect some kids on the bench, ready to get a chance. Hopefully Plymouth won’t be playing the main squad either

Yes, playing RB. At this stage of his playing career its not something he can do regularly. He's close to 13 stone as a player and that's just too much for a 29 year old RB. Look at his physique - he's built to be a CB.

Turley has never played in midfield for Orient and I can't see any merit to it apart from him being big.
