Yes, I wanted a more experienced manager but I'm happy enough with Ross . As time goes by he's gaining that experience and so with hopefully better players coming in during the Summer I think we'll be OK next season . This was always going to be a difficult season even if we still had Justin in charge . The main thing for me this season is we've consolidated ourselves back in the EFL and for the moment that's all that counts

You have to go back to October 2013 for the last time Leyton Orient went 6 home matches in the football league without a defeat -

Never mind the players the style of football we're seeing is mind numbing, especially at home. Keep that up until end of the season and those 5k+ attendances won't go on for much longer.

Danny Macklin must be doing his nut privately having done so much to get people through the door but then seeing what's being served up on the pitch they'll drift away again.

We're slowly getting better and we're now safe from relegation this season. Since I knew we were safe I've become completely relaxed . While I want us to win all our remaining games I know that's not going to happen . I just wish some of our supporters would chill out a little and just enjoy the rest of the season . I'm not a happy clappy and I've done my fair share of moaning on here but I really don't get this hatred thing for Ross from some of our supporters . Listen guys, we're safe so chill out . We'll have new players coming in during the Summer and we'll be better next season so relax.

Might be able to enjoy it if we could see some decent football, experiment a bit, being through some youth. It's just sitting through 90 mins of turgid crap every home game is getting old now

Ross is the manager.

I suspect that not getting relegated will be marketed as a “success” by the club and he’ll be in charge come the opening game of the season 20/21.
Unfortunately this.
Correct fella.

If I believed that we’d get better next season, I’d be chilled. But I fundamentally do not agree that our set up will see any sort of improvement next season. Recruitment will be sh*t and tactics and not get better..imo.

It’s difficult, if not impossible, to chill out and enjoy the season because the football we are being served up is such crap, and everyone just ends up getting frustrated. If it wasn’t for the socialising before and after games I really wouldn’t bother at all, tbh. It just isn’t enjoyable at all, and though a lot of us will blindly follow the club regardless, you do want to actually be entertained as well.

I'd be the first one to admit we need new players . I just hope we can bring in the right players during the Summer.

I'm not sure if really matters re the manager. We are hamstrung by the ridiculous 2 year contracts dished out last season, there's not going to be much budget to bring in any quality

Don’t hate Ross it’s only a game. What I don’t understand is why did Ross take the role when he never wanted it?
Why did Ling chose the guy from Bournemouth when he had not that much more experience?
If there was an issue with back room staff and the new manager why did the board not back the new man?
Things don’t really add up just like our goal difference.

we are safe this season because of Ross and his tactical awareness and fluid formation that baffles opponents and me and the fact that 1 team goes down

next season he will learn under uncle martin , and will once again be the same as this season, basically like a boy cub trying to make a cup of tea but every week forgetting to put water in the kettle every day

the football, tactics and formation is sh*t

One of the worst and least inspiration managers of Leyton orient football club i have ever known

embarrassing to collect yer wages every week

Just thinking about those...

Coulson - a problem as he struggles with pace of L2, try to offload to NL side over summer perhaps?

Widdowson - fine as backup LB / emergency CB, needs competition though and no, not from Brophy

Turley - an asset and first choice player *if* he can stay fit. Hope he won't need to be rushed back this time around and gets a full pre-season behind him

Happe - first choice CB but sounds like he's being touted for sale by the club

Brill - already retired and presumably contract adjusted to his new role in coaching staff

Sargeant - not really good enough but cheap backup to Vigoroux

Ling - a problem, squad player at best. Need a new quality RB ahead of him but Ling Sr won't allow such a thing to happen

Judd - as per Ling, needs to move on as it's not working for him at Orient both on and off pitch based on Ling's comments

Correct on all points. Judd never had a future here because daddy saw him as a threat.
