Would you have deserved pepper spray directly in your face for standing up for something you believed in?
If I'm prepared to go then obviously prepared to take the consequences, simply rule that one and don't belly ache about it afterwards.
But would you have DESERVED it? Not if you'd be alright with it. You're obviously hard as nails, but personally I wouldn't be prepared to be pepper sprayed for using my right to protest, but there you go.
Not sure about deserving, the Authorities would obviously say yes and us being part of the great unwashed would say no, at the time you get involved and rashinal thinking flies out of the window on both sides, then becomes a tit for tat and sometimes the original dispute takes a back seat, normally the side with least bruises eventually claims victory. As for me being hard at my age even I would think twice, always believed he who runs away lives to fight again. If you have the upper hand stay to end, If it's obvious you ain't got a chance, scarper pdq

These guys and girls have bigger balls than you’ll ever get to fondle.
Have you been involved with any demonstration, over the years I've been active in a fair number, Poll Tax riots, American Embassy in London, anti vietnam war, Miners strike even as a flying picket, the Orgrieve coking plant, Wapping dispute and others, so my balls are of a good size thank you, not sure about yours though. Thanks for bringing back the memories of the good old days, would you know how to take on the Met Police Mounted "Polo Team" without cacking your pants, Nah didn't think so.
Go back to flower pressing, that's about your limit I would think
Have you f**k.

What about other peoples rights to get one with their lives without being blockaded etc?

Just allow protests that don’t inconvenience anyone 👍

Normal people should be punished for the faults of government and businesses?
