The best own goal I have ever seen was in a Boxing Day fixture at charlton v orient. Charlton had a corner which was cleared outside our box and we were chasing the ball. The charlton centre half shipperly? panicked and turned and volleyed the ball back to his keeper who standing way outside his area saw the ball sail over his head and into the net.
I’ve never seen another own goal scored from the opponents half.
