I thought that last week this was all going to come out in the wash in the next 3 days....
Has Ling put it on the extended spin cycle or something?
Hope there can be an amicable departure.
Seems that Jobi McAnuff took charge of the reserves vs AFC Wimbledon yesterday - perhaps he may be number 2?

Re: Danny Webb
Solicitors are involved so who knows how long it will take, but it needs putting to bed.
Webb will IMHO be a loss to the club, he stood up to FB, worked really well with Justin and was really well liked amongst the players. dissapointed he has left hope he does well for himself.

I for one welcome your memoirs being published in the future with lots of salacious details.UpminsterO wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 10:23 am The club are going through a bit if a tough time lately - first priotyy is to stay up then we can all express very clearly our views to the owner if each of us want to write a correspondence
In the meantime recents events or should I say prolonged events since Justin passed away -apart from the cohesive mourning with respect by everyone- has caused me concern
Eg
1-Loyal employees facing legal issues and assumed departure
2-" Culture" that has not been defined - but certainly was non existent to fletcher after he was "investigated"
There so much more I not writing now but will one day

I may be wrong but you do come across as somebody that is far too close to the current management. Truth always inevitably comes out. With only one team going down, we were almost always going to be safe this year.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 10:18 am Poisonous spider evicted and we get a good bit of form going.

Disappointed he has left? That depends on how destructive he has been. Doubt we will ever know but it must have been serious.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 10:12 am Solicitors are involved so who knows how long it will take, but it needs putting to bed.

I think it's probably better not to speculate. We are not being told the truth by the club about Fletcher, Webb et al.DuvB wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 11:43 amDisappointed he has left? Re: Danny Webb
Wouldn't hold that against him, I don't think Cisak or his agent were keen on playing as it wasn't clear if the players were comprehensively insured
against injury at the time, the club had let the medical cover slip and we had no permanent doctor or physio and that's why a lot of senior pro's refused to play as we slid toward the conference, we had several home games towards the end of that season that were close to being called off due to lack of the doctor and/or other medical staff not being available, other clubs bailed us out last minute so it made no difference really.
At least Webb had the balls to go and knock on FBs door and tell him what needed to be done, he put forward a comprehensive plan of what was needed short and long term and when FB ignored it he walked.

Re: Danny Webb
So it was Cisak's agent's fault that Webb refused to play him?Top of the JES wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 12:10 pmWouldn't hold that against him, I don't think Cisak or his agent were keen on playing as it wasn't clear if the players were comprehensively insured

Re: Danny Webb
Was it Webb who kicked off when he came back to get a job with the club after T&T came in, or was that Riza or someone else?
Apologies, I get confused by all these generic wideboy estate agent types.

Re: Danny Webb
Ross said on the podcast that he was not able to speak about it (Danny’s situation) for legal reason as it was still ongoing.
Shame as I really felt he had a good future in front of him at this football club. Last season he always seemed to be the go to guy from Justin, maybe cos he had the sports science stuff relayed to him and he had it all ready for Justin when he needed details etc.
He wasn’t ready to be a manager here and he said that when he returned, but he was on a journey that would hopefully lead to him being our manager one day. The same could be said for Ross and that he was on the same journey, neither ready, but working towards being ready. That would have been the sensible approach to take with both men.

Re: Danny Webb
The club is aware that Danny was/is a popular figure. I still feel that there should be some official communication on the matter as there was when Fletcher left, when most of us were not keen on him anyway....

Re: Danny Webb
I know you have issues with what people post if it doesn't meet your argumentative and speculative narrative but If you bothered to read what I have posted I haven't aportioned blame but given an opinion, but FYI a lot of players didn't want to play without adequate medical cover because if they had been badly injured they wouldn't have been taken care of Cisak was one of them, you're just quick to apportion blame on Webb who like everyone else was managing with one hand tied behind his back.RedO wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 12:42 pmSo it was Cisak's agent's fault that Webb refused to play him?Top of the JES wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 12:10 pmWouldn't hold that against him, I don't think Cisak or his agent were keen on playing as it wasn't clear if the players were comprehensively insured

Re: Danny Webb
Is that correct? (See my question above).
Did he reapply for the managers role, or was that the other one?

He was quite clear in his interview on returning that he reapplied at the level he felt suitable to, if my memory serves me correctly.

Re: Danny Webb
Yes I was replying to you. It was Riza that kicked off and it was him that applied. Danny has said it on either the orient hour or the podcast, I've heard it from his own mouth. Here is an actual quote from Ling on his position, towards the bottom of the article.

Re: Danny Webb
Dont forget the Nepotism & personal fyfdom of Martin Ling by all & sundry on here & other places , with only circumstantial uncoroborated evidence by the Big Shots on here , while JE was alive & after he passed.UpminsterO wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 11:18 am How can an employer of the service that guy completed be described as a spider of venom
Even if he said some thing deemed out of place unless you were there how would you know if he was provoked or not to make him say whatever he may of said
How do you or anyone know.
All I know is since Justin passed its one slur after another relating to staff and players - be it fletcher / Adams references not being acceptable / the interview process and selection process moves like a conflicting wave depending on the windpipe of the speaker /Judd behaviour / Webb / conflicting interviews and comments from directors and staff about a range of issues /Ross saying in an interview with clear wording implying fletcher as he expierenced him in a negative way - let's compare their two cv and see what a view is by an independent football person
On a micro level we had fletcher criticed for scratching his head and looking away in interviews
But on Ross last interview after our win he scratched himself on his chest mutiple times and his head
Yeah it's pathetic having to even raise that but I am sick of death of the double standards in this club these days for different employees and their career opportunities biased by a select few within the club
Opps sorry 'bout the typo, meant Sh*ts !

I heard a rumour that whilst he’s been out injured, Sam has In fact, been Theo the Wyvern at all home games.
