Lucky, the ammendment will get overturned in the H of C, so Boris won't be too concerned.

However I do agree with the lords, physical proof of residency should be provided and it should be a legal document.

And of course you couldn't possibly be racist at all because you're a socialist, but you could be sued for defamation of character. He hasn't been arrested charged or been put on trial or found guilty.

Now this is not the end of Boris and the Tory scum. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

I think that the issue is with the possibility of having ID cards gradually creep into the system. Which is why the government do not want to do this.

The HOL is there to advise and check. It does not set legislation. So a defeat for the government is not to all intense and purpose, a defeat, it is guidance.

So I have to be a socialist to not like Boris and to be racist?
I didn’t coin the phrase picannini with a water melon smile or Muslim women who wear burkas look like letterboxes

I could be sued for defamation of character?😂😂😂

It just shows how much of a farce the HoL is. No real power, just a bunch of political favourites and inherited title jerks (many of the political ones who have been "moved out of the way" or and others rewarded for loyalty). Moving the HoL to Yorkshire, as touted in certain quarters, won't change the fact that it is an unelected, largely powerless, body that owes more of its operation and processes to history than the current needs and realities of a modern day democracy.
