Grimsby Town (H) - Exiles Thread
Hello from Bergen.
Miserable day over here. It has been pouring down for the last month.
I really look forward to this game. Very exited about the team. Will Ross give the new goalie a chance?
COME ON ORIENT!!!

Hope it's not going to end up like the Donovan Ricketts situation many years back (was on verge of being signed but ended up refused clearance)

I’d presume we’ve got marsh and Happe as the fullbacks, even though we have a fit Judd on the bench. It’ll be interesting to see how hector does in the middle of the park alongside wright, and I’m very glad to see Wilkinson back in the starting lineup. COYOS!!

That was work permit related though. Vigouroux doesn't need one of those.

Is this return of the 5-3-2? So many players go out of position at present it could be pretty much anything from the lineup.
Well remembered, will be interesting if Sargeant has a blinder today.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 2:11 pmThat was work permit related though. Vigouroux doesn't need one of those.

Also possibly a back three - guess we'll see.Orient2001 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 2:08 pm I’d presume we’ve got marsh and Happe as the fullbacks, even though we have a fit Judd on the bench. Says a lot about how many players we have to put out of position that you can't tell the lineup from the squad.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 2:13 pmAlso possibly a back three - guess we'll see.Orient2001 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 2:08 pm I’d presume we’ve got marsh and Happe as the fullbacks, even though we have a fit Judd on the bench. Could be anything from 5-3-2 to 4-4-2. Interesting that Ekpiteta stays benched. If the way Gorman was handled prior to departure is anything to go by it seems Marv will be on his way this transfer window too.

This International Clearance thing is a total joke. Why does it take so long?

Yeah. I hadn't seen your previous post when I put that up. I think it's most likely a 4-4-2. If we're putting JMD and Brophy on the wings and Wilkinson and Angol up top together at least we are giving ourselves a better chance of getting something.gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 2:18 pmSays a lot about how many players we have to put out of position that you can't tell the lineup from the squad.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 2:13 pmAlso possibly a back three - guess we'll see.Orient2001 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 2:08 pm I’d presume we’ve got marsh and Happe as the fullbacks, even though we have a fit Judd on the bench. Re: Grimsby Town (H) - Exiles Thread
I'm going for 5-3-2 with Marsh/Brophy at wing-back, JMD in number 10.
Hopefully might be a different beast to the sides we saw earlier in the season, at least the full backs can attack.

Re: Grimsby Town (H) - Exiles Thread
Doesn't quite look like 2 upfront, more of a 4-2-3-1?
Brophy at LB, Turley at RB.
Goalbound header cleared off the line by Grismby from a JMD corner. Close. Orient going back to the "bus stop" corner routine crowding the keeper, not seen that for a while
