Ross “we under performed''..............Again !!
As to ''under-performing, well as did the interim manager with his team selection and uninspiring lack of positive tactics and all round know how of how to manage a football team.

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
Perhaps we need Ross to speak in Italian and then get Gagliardi to translate, might sound different then!
On a serious note, this is now getting beyond a joke, sort the manager situation out before the team (and the attendances) drop further.

Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
I have to say on a personal note I was fuming when he took Turley off and stuck Brophy at left back up till then Brophy was doing pretty well in the advanced left role
Re: Ross Embleton - “ We under performed”
It seems quite obvious to me that things are not right on the training ground.
If preparations have gone right it's possible to have some games which are bad, but underperformance is so common this season that its simply not bad luck. No doubt they are trying hard, but the skills ain't there I feel. Defensively it is not good enough.
I feel sorry for Ross as he probably knows he hasn't got it in him to be a number 1, but he doesn't even have the option now of stepping down as he'd have to ask Ling first and it seems the first plan was to simply hope we got the results from his games. A win or two more from his 7 games would have put us 12-15 points from the drop, and he could have been appointed and no changes made. Getting in a new guy now will simply see him deliver the same news that Fletcher said: 6-7 players aren't good enough, and it seems Ling doesn't want to hear that. It would reflect badly on him because then the question would be 'why did you renew their contracts so soon?'
Stevenage are 9 points below us, have a game in hand, have us to play at home, and will probably back Westley in the transfer window who will sign some Westley type players that work hard on the pitch. I am confident the gap is still too big, but it is far from a foregone conclusion.
New manager or not, we can't afford to mess around in this transfer window and we need some genuine improvements that will be starters.

No, but he’s got a nasty cold sore, often brought on by stress.

Probably due to the “ never ‘eard of ‘im “ factor that accompanies most of our signings !RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 8:02 pmWhy do I get this feeling we'll be disappointed.redintheface wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 7:30 pm Let’s see what the difference is between what we need and what we get!
