Either do the morons who voted for them. Given that they have the intellectual capacity of a toothpaste lid (especially those on here), you would think workers’ rights would resonate with them.

I think it really does boil down to people thinking it won't be them that gets shat on so sod it. Let someone else pick up the tab. In response to that I'm reminded of Martin Neimoller's old prose poem...
