Sorry to have to say this, I’ve defended him all season, and I’m not saying he’s the main reason for any of them. But Coulson should have done better in all 4 of those goals.
Defending shocking for all goals. Terrible goalkeeping for the first. Clay had two chances to help defend the second but just kept stopping to protest with the referee, flapping his hands around. Far too easy to score against. Need to tighten up at the back somehow and as soon as possible.

First - Brill awful keeping, I'd be disappointed with that at 7-a-side never mind pro level
Second - Clay play the whistle FFS, Brill suspect positioning for the shot
Third - whole defence switches off, no pressure on the guy picking the initial through ball
Fourth - Brill awful keeping again
As much as he was a hero for us last season Brill just doesn't look right this time around. All seems to stem from his summer injury, wasn't given time to heal properly rushed back after missing pre-season. Sargeant clearly isn't a viable option either so again a false economy not bringing someone in.
As bad as it looked on the day.
We are too slow to the ball so often and don't want the ball or game as much as the opposition. Then we play well for 40 mins, but by that time its too late.
And why is Angol confined to the wing so much?

Seen some cr8p on this forum before but a couple of the comments on here sit right on top of the cr8p heap.
I didn't realise how poor FGR's initial shot was for the first goal. Down to Brill, as was the second down to Clay. The 3rd was a good goal from FGR's perspective but Happe allows the cross. If blame goes anywhere for the 4th then its Coulson. What FGR did on all 4 goals was get deep into our box and at that point it becomes very difficult to defend.

Totally. It's not as clear cut as saying player x was responsible for goal y. There were multiple errors by multiple players in each of the goals.
The biggest mistake was not only having Alibi in the squad but playing him, JE woudnt play him so why on earth is Embleton other than to try and show that it wasn’t yet another f*ck up signing by Ling which it clearly was.
Ling’s position as a DOF is not longer tenable, Ross Embleton maybe a coach but he certainly is not a Manager.
No he was a ML signing and he said that he is not the player he watched personally at Chester. He is the loveliest bloke hes ever met, but it's not working out how he thought it would.
I'd say he is the same player as was at Chester, it's just that we never played him in the same way. His goal against Grimsby is playing to his strengths. Last year if he picked up the ball like that Bonne would be in front of him.
Maybe Lingy wants to cover his own arse, but it seems stupid to try and pull the wool over fans eyes like that.
We tried to use him like Tranmere did, we got the same results. Once we chose not to play him as the main striker, I don't see why we should be entitled to expect anything different.
Smells of saving face to blame it on the player. Alabi has tried hard enough in my view, the fault lies with how he was played.
