I think all of this is ignoring the fact that M&T played bloody well. They were organised, had a plan and played neat passing football, none of yer hoofing it up front nonsense. Yes we were crap but that doesn’t detract from how well M&T played.

Used to be a good club back in the 80’s and possibly the best non league team around at that time. If relegation and promotion been around then they’d have been in the football league during that time.

In simple terms of worst meaning losing to a club who play at a lower level (and are therefore theoretically worse than us), yes, it has to be our worst ever result. The team and manager can be proud of that magnificent and historic 'achievement'.
