He's made of glass, plays one game and done for weeks. That's perhaps why he isn't making his mark.

Combination of both, plus the formation change and Dennis giving them something to think about when he came on
Not sure why he didn’t start last Saturday either,Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:45 pmCombination of both, plus the formation change and Dennis giving them something to think about when he came on
Embarrassing. I doubt he can.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:55 pm If Carl Fletcher didn’t know where are weaknesses are, he does now. It’s now down to him to try and put things right
Yep he was head and shoulders our best player when he came on, think he's better out wide right but he asked a few questions of Plymouth and gave Fletcher some food for thought.Thor wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:48 pmNot sure why he didn’t start last Saturday either,Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:45 pmCombination of both, plus the formation change and Dennis giving them something to think about when he came on
I still think Plymouth will be right up there at seasons end massive difference in quality between them and Grimsby, Plymouth move that ball at pace and with purpose something we don't, we stop and pass back and across far too often, our attacks lose momentum and make it easy to defend against tbf our midfield was clueless tonight.Thor wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:48 pm We were poor all over the place. Our midfield was missing and our defence not much better and the ref well that first goal has to be the worst decision I’ve seen in a long time.
Well Fletch, over to you son, you better get on that training pitch and sort out our deficiencies pretty dam quick.
Good luck old boy and up the o’s at least it can only get better as the song goes.
You may be right about Plymouth, but the same thing was said about Swindon when they came to the O’s and demolished us and they have slumped since. We definitely have a problem this season in digging in after we concede and not letting in another goal quickly thereafter.Top of the West. wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:06 pmI still think Plymouth will be right up there at seasons end massive difference in quality between them and Grimsby, Plymouth move that ball at pace and with purpose something we don't, we stop and pass back and across far too often, our attacks lose momentum and make it easy to defend against tbf our midfield was clueless tonight.Thor wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:48 pm We were poor all over the place. If we have issues in midfield (OK I know we do) then Fletcher is ideally placed to recognise that. He will definitely get that area sorted in the same way Justin sorted our defence. Today’s loss is no big issue, in fact it may turn out to be a good eye opener for Fletcher and the catalyst for him to bring about change.Top of the West. wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:06 pmI still think Plymouth will be right up there at seasons end massive difference in quality between them and Grimsby, Plymouth move that ball at pace and with purpose something we don't, we stop and pass back and across far too often, our attacks lose momentum and make it easy to defend against tbf our midfield was clueless tonight.Thor wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:48 pm We were poor all over the place. Going to need a transfer window first, don't think we have an effective pairing in the current squad and we need a plan B or teams will suss out the 4-3-3 very quickly.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:18 pmIf we have issues in midfield (OK I know we do) then Fletcher is ideally placed to recognise that. Needs to be out wide. In front of goal he can't hit the proverbial cow's bum with a banjo.Top of the West. wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:00 pmYep he was head and shoulders our best player when he came on, think he's better out wide right but he asked a few questions of Plymouth and gave Fletcher some food for thought.Thor wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:48 pmNot sure why he didn’t start last Saturday either,Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:45 pm

This is the same set of players in the same formation that have just started to get things together, 10 points from 12 isn’t it?Rambling Man wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:28 pm No way Fletcher is responsible for that. A wake up call. Heads weren't right perhaps. This season two games in a week has been a problem. I wonder if they're fit enough?
A couple of s made that observation before this game.
So if he hasn't changed anything what's he done wrong?RedO wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:35 pmThis is the same set of players in the same formation that have just started to get things together, 10 points from 12 isn’t it?Rambling Man wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:28 pm No way Fletcher is responsible for that. The only difference is Fletcher was in charge tonight.
Argyle took off the 3 players who were ripping us a new one , Alabi was offside when he missed the sitter .....no excuse though .
No idea mate.Rambling Man wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:48 pmSo if he hasn't changed anything what's he done wrong?RedO wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:35 pmThis is the same set of players in the same formation that have just started to get things together, 10 points from 12 isn’t it?Rambling Man wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:28 pm No way Fletcher is responsible for that.
