Re: Exiles thread
Even last season we had the odd game where I understood what we were trying to do and looked decent. We're 12 games in and can only really point at the Bromley game as a genuinely good performance. It's dirge every week with no sense we're improving or that there's a plan that's just not quite clicking.E10quence wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 4:46 pmOr last season. I genuinely hate watching us these days. It's so depressing.Mistadobalina wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 4:44 pm Disaster class from Miz that.
No less than we deserve. Think I'm finally arriving upon the view that Wellens needs to go. How many good performances have we actually put in this season?

Re: Exiles thread
To throw the points away from a winning position is so poor. We've got a big squad yet they seem as unfit as last year, questions have to be asked there about the conditioning

Re: Exiles thread
It’s simply not tenable for Wellens to keep picking Wellens
That wasn’t our only problem today, but it don’t help

Re: Exiles thread
Too many players not at the races today says Matt Hiscock - when have we heard that before. Oh well, maybe it'll be different against Cambridge next week.

Re: Exiles thread
Gilchrist and Forester good. The rest of them dog muck - el miz isn’t fit. He’s got no intensity?

Re: Exiles thread
Look at the impact Webster and Vickers had today, light years difference to Hayden.
Re: Exiles thread
What's going on. We're not a poor side but we keep playing so poorly. Why aren't they upping their game - what's wrong?

Re: Exiles thread
Following the same pattern as last season, incredibly inconsistent start, initially floating around mid-table, then from Nov/Dec onwards we begin to drop towards the relegation zone. He's got to go.

WJ1 cost us three points. Let’s drop him first.PT78 wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 4:53 pm Idris Cost us a point.

Re: Exiles thread
Truly terrible yet again. Even when we’ve won we’ve mostly looked rubbish. Time for a change.
If Wellens disrespects our club by playing his clown son next week I will be making my displeasure known. An absolute disgrace

Re: Exiles thread
2 defeats in a week
No goals scored

The problem is RW hasnt got a clue what his best team is
The players have no confidence as they are in team one game out again next match
But he knows CW has to be in stating 11
How can you get consistency when you chop n change every bloody week.
Sorry Richie I am one of yiur biggest fans, but you have completely lost me with your team selections, negative tactics and playing yiur son
I am very disappointed

Re: Exiles thread
He'll mention the short time from the Wednesday match and trying to get the right recovery period. But, IMO, these guys are young fellas who should be able to run and run and run. But what do I know, I've only watched football from the stands or the Tv for 60 odd years.Stan1972 wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 4:45 pm Very Disappointed

Re: Exiles thread
Stevens, Gilchrist, Forester and Gilbert, totally solid the rest are either striving for form or just not good enough.
