Re: Paul Terry interview post Plymouth
Burning through all the goodwill he's earned over the last 5 years, sad to see.
Hope when he goes he's able to honestly reflect on where he can do better. This sort of sh*t wouldn't be acceptable at a bigger club.

What the f*ck is happening?
How can everyone at the club just roll on as though everything is normal when it’s obviously anything but? It’s bizarre.

I don’t think it’s Richie refusing to do media. That’s clearly ridiculous and wouldn’t be allowed to happen.
Someone higher up the chain of command has banned him from doing them, presumably for a specified period.
Probably to teach him a lesson about the need for more professionalism in front of camera.
If the club wasn’t so poo poo at comms in general they would have come clean about this already.

You’re deluded if you believe that , Richie does what he wants and the board shouldn’t allow it, it’s a derogation of dutyRPLancsO wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2026 7:00 pm I don’t think it’s Richie refusing to do media. That’s clearly ridiculous and wouldn’t be allowed to happen.

This is a pure strop. The internal media is so controlled. Could easily have him do an anodyne interview. He’s choosing not to.RPLancsO wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2026 7:00 pm I don’t think it’s Richie refusing to do media. That’s clearly ridiculous and wouldn’t be allowed to happen.

This has to be right.Mistadobalina wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2026 6:22 pm Burning through all the goodwill he's earned over the last 5 years, sad to see.

Think it's really disrespectful to the fans not to do the interview, after yet another home defeat.
Our abysmal home record is inexplicable set against all the talent we have.
I want to hear from him about what went wrong & how he thinks it can be put right.
That's not unreasonable.

Re: Paul Terry interview post Plymouth
All I can say is it was disappointing today . With the talent we have we should be doing better . I thought Plymouth were the better team today and deserved to win so I've got no complaints . Actually I fancy them to go on to win promotion this season . Although I rate Richie very highly I still think he's wrong not to face the media . From what I heard of the crowd today the vast majority of people is still fully behind him . Whatever the problem is he should just come out and tell us .

If you're right about this than maybe the club would want to keep it in-house and not tell usRPLancsO wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2026 7:00 pm I don’t think it’s Richie refusing to do media. That’s clearly ridiculous and wouldn’t be allowed to happen.

Re: Paul Terrys interviews post Plymouth including DV
Just listened to Paul's interview and IMO it was reassuring to hear there are no problems with Richie but I still think he should face the media . One of the things I love about Richie is his honesty . He tells you it straight , good, bad or ugly because he wears his heart on his sleeve . He was the type of manager I was crying out for before he arrived so I'm not going to abandon him now just because we're going through a sticky patch . I acknowledge last season was a write off but I firmly believe we will improve this season . We're Orient for f**ks sake , not Barcelona or Real Madrid
On Aaron Connolly , I was wondering could he not wear something to protect his shoulder while playing . I'm thinking about players who wear a protective face mask to protect something like a fractured cheekbone ..... Just a thought .
