Re: Exiles Thread.
Gilbert looks different gravy. Why have we not put on one of the strikers is baffling

Re: Exiles Thread.
Leaving Wellens on so we could ditch the shape that was creating pressure is unforgivable. We've totally lost our way since going to three at the back.

Clare has helped to see this game out for Wycombe better than any Wycombe player last 5/10

Very depressing result. Hard not to look at Wellens playing whole 90 when he isn’t particularly remarkable and impact players like Theo and Springett on the bench.

Akhamrich easily the standout player, not much competition mindCeltient wrote: Sat Sep 12, 2026 2:24 pm Glad I haven't been asked to name Orient's Man of the Match
Agree on that, would've been one of the players you'd take off to freshen things upidontkn0 M wrote: Sat Sep 12, 2026 2:25 pm Very depressing result. Hard not to look at Wellens playing whole 90 when he isn’t particularly remarkable and impact players like Theo and Springett on the bench.

Re: Exiles Thread.
Another home defeat. Poor defending and lots of missed chances. We didn't play badly by the sound of it, and at times you could say the ball just wasn't running for us.

FT, left themselves far too much to do. You can't concede either side of HT and expect to come away with any points

Re: Exiles Thread.
We scored twice against one of the most out of form teams in the league, at home. The reason we lost that game was entirely because we gave away three stupid goals. We didn't get played through, we conceded from the two set-pieces and one awful cock-up trying to play out from the back. we've been dreadful at defending set-pieces for ages, it needs fixing. The playing out from the back stuff is absolutely reckless wit that personnel out there. It shouldn't be happening.

Re: Exiles Thread.
That was feckin’ awful. Defence is abysmal and we’re liable to concede at every set piece. Starting to seriously wonder if Richie is capable of getting the best out of this group.

Re: Exiles Thread.
Oh dear, more awful defending.
If this carries on then we are in for a very frustrating & somewhat difficult season.
Dreadful start to the season at home.
As has been stated, wonder what Richie's excuses will be.
