It is though tbf. They bought the name and brand assets out of bankruptcy but the actual company has no real connection with the heritage that they’re claiming.

He’s just being like that because he knows that of course the company had to put a lot of thought into what they did with the kit and his “you've massively overthought it” comment was unnecessarily rude.

Basically the same as the last home braces shirt only two years ago

Yeah it’s not a bad shirt in and of itself but the more I think about the more it’s a bit of a pisstake eh?

Essentially a copy and paste from two years ago with the badge in a different place. But with a fancy video, song and launch party. All a bit wierd by the club.

No one’s gonna give a sh*t about the shirt in a few weeks but always slightly grating that the club can never seen the quite get this sort of thing right every year.

It’s just braces. We’ve had it lots of times, not just 2 years ago. I’m fine with that.

The problem is it’s not been done very well. The braces are too big, making it look more like stripes. The marking on the shoulder (which I’d like on a plainer shirt) is overkill with the stripes below.

Will reserve opinion on fit, colour and quality until I see it in person, but aesthetically they’ve f*cked it up.

There’s too much white too. The white on the Meyba logo and writing, the white border around the crest and the logo and writing.

I think the shirt is ok but not so sure about the shorts, but as others have said in a few weeks time we’ll have different things to talk about and hopefully it won’t be ‘where’s our first win coming from’.
It was always gonna be impossible to produce a shirt / kit that everyone would like and wanted to buy.

You'd like to think someone checking the numbers would eventually realise that zero interest was unlikely & so fix the link. But I mentioned the problem to the shop supervisor when I was in there today, just in case.

We would've had to submit our kits to the league about two weeks, so it will be known, I'm surprised it hasn't leaked

The purple kit was epic, agree a straight remake under Meyba would've been the ideal but I like that light blue and grid design. Surely no excuse this year with new kit manufacturer being more flexible
