Re: NEW KIT LAUNCH 11AM
Having seen the kit in action for the first time in the Enfield highlights, I'd be interested to know the players views. It looks ill-fitting and easily grabbable, like a non-league side where every shirt has to be an XL just to cover all eventualities.
Hopefully the other two kits are better fitted than this one....

Re: NEW KIT LAUNCH 11AM
How dare you disrespect our war heroes! Yes, I think Meyba don't have the same experience as Puma, and it's one thing letting punters down because they haven't produced enough or any in their size, but if there end up being performance issues on the pitch as a result that's an issue for all of us.Hoover Attack wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2026 11:18 am Having seen the kit in action for the first time in the Enfield highlights, I'd be interested to know the players views. Re: NEW KIT LAUNCH 11AM
Why should it matter if it's "grabbable"? Shirt pulling is against the rules.

Lots of things are against the rules, but still happen all too often. No VAR in League One (thank God) so doubtless it will remain commonplace next season.Proposition Joe wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2026 11:58 am Why should it matter if it's "grabbable"? Shirt pulling is against the rules.

Of course, shirts are never grabbed.Proposition Joe wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2026 11:58 am Why should it matter if it's "grabbable"? Shirt pulling is against the rules.
Not just the grabbing, these days teams are being equipped with high tech wickable, breathable materials that buy %ages of efficiencies. This doesn’t look like that. Like I said, be interesting to see what the players make of it.

Really? Happens all the time, but when did you last see anyone get penalised for it?Proposition Joe wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2026 11:58 am Why should it matter if it's "grabbable"? Shirt pulling is against the rules.

Surely the club haven’t based a decision purely on commercials rather than having fans and/or the players in mind?

Do you think Puma made kits with anti grab technology ?Hoover Attack wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2026 12:42 pmOf course, shirts are never grabbed.Proposition Joe wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2026 11:58 am Why should it matter if it's "grabbable"? Shirt pulling is against the rules.

If a player feels his shirt is to too large simply wear a smaller sizeHoover Attack wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2026 11:18 am Having seen the kit in action for the first time in the Enfield highlights, I'd be interested to know the players views. Or, simply, defecate all over their own shirt and then point pleadingly at the opponents’ skiddy hands.

It's undeniably a beautiful retro 80s look shirt and should sell well.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2026 2:32 pm Surely the club haven’t based a decision purely on commercials rather than having fans and/or the players in mind?
Sadly, it's also 80s in how flappy it is.
(This is purely from the crappy angle of the Enfield highlights, I reserve the right to delete all these comments if it's just the players have been given wrong sizes).

I'd thought Devlin had said both were going live at that bash but I was wrong.
Not sure they'll do it whilst everyone is away in Spain, though.

Re: NEW KIT LAUNCH 11AM
We've announced our away kit, white with red trim.
Lincoln have announced their home kit, red & white stripes.
As I doubt we'll play in last season's Puma kit, going to be tricky for the officials on Friday unless one of us announces another kit or Lincoln use last season's away kit.
