Just to add to the feeling of farce, there are apparently rumours on Oxford Utd fan site that Waldron was approached by the O’s but turned down a potential move.E10quence wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2026 8:51 am They better make an announcement today/tomorrow. This is already getting farcical.

As OP/this thread proves, we really shouldn't pay much/any attention to random people on message boards.redintheface wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2026 3:54 pmJust to add to the feeling of farce, there are apparently rumours on Oxford Utd fan site that Waldron was approached by the O’s but turned down a potential move.E10quence wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2026 8:51 am They better make an announcement today/tomorrow. I've preached that sentiment for yearsE10quence wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2026 4:45 pmAs OP/this thread proves, we really shouldn't pay much/any attention to random people on message boards.redintheface wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2026 3:54 pmJust to add to the feeling of farce, there are apparently rumours on Oxford Utd fan site that Waldron was approached by the O’s but turned down a potential move.E10quence wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2026 8:51 am They better make an announcement today/tomorrow. Given your previous posts are about George Moncur joining Huddersfield and Alzate moving for £8m, you’ll have to forgive me if I take this one with a grain of salt.![]()

Approach was made for Waldron. He turned us down and we ended up with someone beneath him in Mitchell. Wish him the best of luck rebuilding Orient. I think its more than a coincidence that a few days ago I was the first to mention this and the Oxford connection. Out of 92 clubs in the football league.... it seems quite strange that I got the club right!!!! Anyway... hope he does well.
