I was in Germany at the weekend and unable to attend the Port Vale match so I tuned in to the club's overseas streaming service. It's not the first time I've watched the streaming and from my previous experiences, there were clearly 'teething problems'. In particular the Mansfield match had a few gremlins to say the least but the club had the good sense to refund all fees although having watched the second half only, I would have paid double to see a comeback like that again.
Anyway, I must say this time around, the quality of the stream together with the commentary and punditry were excellent. I'm not sure if any other clubs in the division do anything similar, I had a few other people, (non supporters) watching as well and they couldn't believe that a club of this level are offering such a good service.
I'd like to say a big well done to the club for sorting this out. I'd also like to break the trend of the 'loud voices' who seem to want to moan just about everything the club try to do to make improvements and the people driving these endeavours. UTO's

Re: Lion and Key Streaming Service
A stupid question, but what has this to do with the Lion and Key?

Re: Lion and Key Streaming Service
As somebody who can't make it to home games (because of all of my overseas trips, obviously) the service this year is awesome and at £5 a throw, a bargain. No disrespect to Andy but Dave Victor and his oppo are a major plus as well.brentwoodo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 2:22 pm I was in Germany at the weekend and unable to attend the Port Vale match so I tuned in to the club's overseas streaming service. Re: Lion and Key Streaming Service
It's good to see the club bringing forward new ideas and offering something different. The gremlins at the start happen with many tech projects but sounds like they're getting over them now.

Re: Lion and Key Streaming Service
It's a massively improved service - from the lack of buffering/freezing to the half decent commentary at last. Kudos to the club.brentwoodo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 2:22 pm I was in Germany at the weekend and unable to attend the Port Vale match so I tuned in to the club's overseas streaming service. Agreed. Well done to all those like Danny Macklin who were involved in sorting it out.
